Winne Condos

31 one-of-a-kind units located along warehouse row in Old City. Nothing beats this location with river views and its quaint cobblestone street near the chic and trendy shops and restaurants in Center City's cultural hub. The units feature unique floor plans and stunning finishes that include HW floors with six inch baseboards, solid wood doors, insulated wood windows, recessed lighting, and high ceilings. Each bathroom features Grohe fixtures, travertine marble and onyx tile. Kitchens are fitted with top-of-the-lines amenities too as well as granite counters. Other qualities unique to the Winne Building are Verizon Fiber-Optic access in each unit and a landscaped community courtyard.

The Winne condos were converted back in 2008- I used to live right next door and I have sold 28 of the 31 units...some more than once. Mostly all one and two bedroom condominiums, though there are a few studios in the building The true address here is 38-44 N. Front as the condos are comprised of 4 contiguous buildings that housed a rope making warehouse up until 2008. The condos at 38 N. Front got off to a rocky start, and half of the units went to foreclosure. Those problems are now gone and the condo building is now fully occupied. Tons of exposed brick, and some units retain some really groovy original details- like sliding fire doors and exposed beams. The Winne condos are unique in the fact that NOT all two bedrooms or one bedrooms are the same in terms of value....differing views make that point true. 4 of the 31 condos at 38 N. Front St. have parking. The Winne faces I-95 and the rear of the building has a really neat courtyard- probably the most unique courtyard in all of Center City. The condos at the Winne are fully sprinklered (fire protection system) and some common storage space exists in the basement. I especially like the E units...which have 3 exposures, and a little balcony overlooking the garden courtyard. But all in all, I think the condos possess some great values as they mostly retain the original random width pine floors, new windows throughout and all condominiums have separate HVAC systems as well as hot water tanks. The Winne condos sit on the corner of Front and Cuthbert Streets and many are situated in very quiet positions within the building. I think any potential Old City condo buyer will adore the location as it is close to the EL and many bus routes are within a block or two. Living in Old City can be fun with lots to do and see- a "SO-HO" like neighborhood with lots of restaurants and galleries.
