Without a doubt the White Building condos at 105 S. 12th St. (aka 1230 Chestnut) are unique to the Center City condominium marketplace. The condos are limited in the fact that there are only 24 condo units total. Designed by Goldman Properties out of NYC. Many units have barrel shaped brick ceilings and HUGE oversize windows. The kitchens and baths are very modern and every unit I have seen at the White Building condos have cherry floors and a lot of exposed brick. Many of the bedrooms are not sectioned off- so if a unit says it is a "Two Bedroom"...you might ask yourself where the 2nd bedroom is located. That would be a part of the living room- an adjacent space that has not been sectioned off with walls. Some of the condos at 105 S. 12th St. are loft style with the open bedroom overlooking the living room. The doormen are always friendly and there is some commercial space and a gym on the first floor of the condo building.
